Vaccine Choice Australia makes headlines in WA

On Saturday the 20th of March, freedom rallies were held around the world in protest against the tyrannical measures employed by governments to control the COVID-19 pandemic. People all throughout Europe, the U.S., Canada, South Africa and Australia stood up for the basic human rights of all mankind.
 
Closer to home, peaceful protests were held across the country in many cities. People came together in their thousands to show solidarity, standing as one in a fight for freedom. As mainstream media has a way of doing these days, they were quick to label it an “anti-vaccine movement”, if they in fact bothered to report on it at all.
 
An article in Perth Now began with the headline “Anti-vaxxers descend on Perth CBD”. Let’s be clear on one thing. People are not “anti-vaccine” for speaking out against a rushed-to-market vaccine, lockdowns, masks, social distancing, QR codes, hotel quarantine and border closers. Many of the people that attended the rallies are vaccinated, and many have decided to vaccinate their children. Some have even received the most recent flu shot, either by choice or as part of the conditions of their employment. However, it appears as though anyone who simply questions the government and mainstream media narrative are quickly slapped with the anti-vax/conspiracy theorist label. Perhaps it should be worn as a badge of honour. Maybe it means that a person has the ability to think for themselves and question the narrative. It certainly means that an individual is asking legitimate questions regarding a new vaccine that has no long-term efficacy or safety data.
 
At Vaccine Choice Australia, we aim to “gather like-minded people across our country and build a community of people that will Stand-Up together” as the article correctly explains. However, that is where the truth ends and the lies begin. We are not holding protests across Perth and regional Western Australia. We are conducting a series of seminars that aim to educate people on the experimental vaccine and the many risks associated with it. We are providing people with information, so that they can make an informed decision, rather than being manipulated and coerced in taking a vaccine that the pharmaceutical companies are indemnified against.
 
The article further attacked our keynote speaker, Dr Judy Wilyman, by claiming that her research has been described by medical professionals as a “conspiracy theory”. There were no links or quoted medical professionals to back up this claim. Dr Wilyman has over 25 years of experience on the topic of vaccination, completing her PhD at the University of Wollongong in 2015. Her thesis is titled, “A critical analysis of the Australian Government’s rationale for its vaccination policy”. She has presented her research nationally and internationally, running public seminars and being employed as an expert witness in court cases involving vaccinations. She has conducted talks and webinars on vaccination and informed consent, and has written a book titled, “Vaccination: Australia’s Loss of Health Freedom”. Dr Wilyman is highly sought after for her knowledge and expertise on informed decisions about vaccination.
 
Towards the end of the Perth Now article, the author states that “both the AstraZeneca vaccine and the Pfizer vaccine have been approved and deemed safe by the Therapeutic Goods Administration”. This is factually incorrect and we demand a retraction of this statement. This is the exact reason why Vaccine Choice Australia is conducting the Stand Up Australia Tour, to counter the misinformation in mainstream media.
 
The Therapeutic Goods Administration have provisionally approved the AstraZeneca vaccine and the Pfizer vaccine. Neither vaccine has been fully approved, and they cannot be fully approved until the completion of the clinical trials. In the case of the Pfizer vaccine, this happens to be in January of 2023. What’s more, the author actually used the same links as this article, which quite clearly states that both vaccines have received provisional approval only.
 
According to the TGA media releases, “Provisional approval of this vaccine is valid for two years and means it can now be legally supplied in Australia. The approval is subject to certain strict conditions, such as the requirement for (AstraZeneca and Pfizer) to continue providing information to the TGA on longer term efficacy and safety from ongoing clinical trials and post-market assessment.”
 
As the media releases state, the longer term efficacy and safety is unknown. The TGA’s Australian Public Assessment Reports (AusPAR) for the AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines supports this statement. In the case of the AstraZeneca vaccine, the AusPAR states that the long-term safety data is “missing information” and that there are “significant concerns about the robustness of the data”. The Pfizer AusPAR sums up the lack of data by stating that “in addition to the unknown longer term safety and unknown duration of vaccine protection, there are other limitations with the submitted data”.
 
These statements are directly from the TGA website. This is the information that we are sharing with the public. This is the information that is being hidden by the government, mainstream media and pharmaceutical companies. People need to know this information prior to making an ‘informed decision’, otherwise how can they truly make an ‘informed’ decision?
 
The article concludes by claiming that “last month, thousands of anti-vaxxers protested against ‘mandatory vaccination’ in Scarborough”. A march in February in Perth did attract thousands of protestors against mandatory vaccines, as it did in many cities across the country. However, once again, these ‘protestors’ were not “anti-vaxxers”. They were people marching for medical freedom.
