"The Australian Immunisation Handbook lists criteria for valid consent including that it must be given in the absence of undue pressure, coercion and manipulation and that it can only be given after the potential risks and benefits have been explained. Who is responsible for implementing, overseeing and enforcing this process? Does the responsible authority collect public data to ensure a parent, guardian or patient is informed correctly before giving consent?"
